Sutra 3

Yoga is a single teaching, but it consists of a large number of different types of yoga. A separate Yoga Course is dedicated to each type of yoga at our University.

Online Distance Learning at our University assumes that a student will consistently complete a certain number of individual Yoga Courses.

Each next course must be completed no earlier than the student completed the previous course and scored a certain number of points.

All of the available courses that a student must take are divided into several sections or cycles, such as “Zero Yoga Training Cycle”, “First Yoga Training Cycle”, “Second Yoga Training Cycle” and “Additional Yoga Materials”.

Each individual step of the Course contains the material of the lesson, which the student must study, a test for checking the material with which the student has familiarized before this, homework or some other task provided by the Course.

The material of the lesson can be presented simultaneously both as a text and as a video or audio lecture.

The time allotted for the study of the lesson consists of the time to study the text and the time to listen to (watch) the Audio (Video) file of the lesson.

The printed text is partly a skeleton of knowledge, it is extremely necessary, but, like any skeleton, it does not convey the situation as a whole.

Dry text narration of knowledge of yoga is absolutely necessary, but it does not convey all the nuances of this knowledge. Personal presence or at least Video, Audio recording is required.

The emotional component in yoga is no less important than the logical.

If you encounter any inconsistencies, or incomprehensible points in the presentation of the material - then priority should be given to the printed version.

The test checks only one thing: how carefully you have studied and memorized the material of this particular Course.

The test is considered successful if you score 80% or more percent.

Responsibly approach homework. Please do not skip a single section in the review, be accurate and accurate.

We ask you to send your homework as an MS Word file.

If the student answered all the questions of the review without gaps and sample answers, then the assessment is set to 100%. It is assumed that a student in some points where he does not know how to answer will write “I do not know”, “have not found”, “I cannot answer”.

If the Student answered only some of the questions, and some left unanswered or with a template option, then the assessment is set in proportion to the number of answers.

If the student does not have a photo, then at the discretion of the curator, the estimate may be reduced by 1%.

If the person’s name is clearly a machine or explicit pseudonym, for example, “123 sdgfsdfg”, “Enlightened Buddha”, “Barack Obama”, then the estimate may be reduced by 1% at the discretion of the curator.

At the discretion of the curator, the student may be given one week to correct the deficiencies, after which the assessment of the homework assignment may be revised.

Homework is usually estimated for several days; the course curators do this.

If you did not receive a homework grade during the week, write to our Main Forum on the very first thread, to the curators and duplicate the message to the mailbox so that the curators check your homework as soon as possible.

Education without homework, as well as testing, is unpromising, dampening and causing dropouts.

We expect from you a constructive, friendly, sincere review that will help us make the Courses better, and you will develop useful qualities of character.

The task of Open Yoga University and Internet Yoga Courses is to present and explain the most difficult and poorly understood sections of yoga in simple and understandable language that can be understood by an ordinary person who has never been able to deal with the science of yoga before.

Yoga teaches us that the more focused we focus our attention on the material being studied, the better we will understand it and, most importantly, we will remember.

We can increase concentration of attention by taking notes from the material being studied by hand, as well as pronouncing aloud new information for us.

Get yourself a Yoga Diary - a blank notebook or a notebook of a convenient size. As you learn, write down in the Yoga Diary the main points of the Courses, mark all the stages of your training, work, practice, passing the Internet Yoga Courses, lecture notes and classes, future plans, thoughts and emotions, as well as everything you consider necessary.

Yoga Diary extremely strongly develops attentiveness, memory, will and the ability to bring to the end everything started.

If in the process of studying the course materials you found inspiration and you spontaneously drew a picture illustrating any position in yoga, scan it and send it to us at happyoga@mail.ru, and we will place it in the course gallery.

A serious factor in passing courses is the time they pass. Appreciate it!

Pass the course for a reasonable time duration.

Courses are designed to learn to value time and know its price.

If you feel the time, you will work out the correct rhythm of life and come closer to understanding the grand harmonious law of the Universe, which protects you from suffering, which in the ancient Indian Vedas is called the “Rita” law.

Starting school, do not drop it. Do not miss your chance. Time does not return, for any money.

We, as it was in the best traditions of the ancient teachers of yoga, are forced to insist that the students literally “memorized” some axiomatic positions in yoga by heart and constantly repeated them.

Sometimes it takes years of such repetitions, so that the hidden meaning of these seemingly obvious positions in yoga becomes truly realized by the student.

First, you need to gain a minimum of the theory of yoga, which will save you from the inevitable mistakes in the independent exercise of physical exercises.

Keep a copy of your homework course or certificate - this is proof of your successful completion of the course.

We are forced to “clean” the courses with a certain frequency, deleting all intermediate information, and transfer all important data to the archive. This is done in order to relieve the serious load on the servers and software courses.

If on the course that you have already taken, your test scores, your homework, or you suddenly did not find yourself in the lists suddenly disappeared - do not worry. This is most likely due to the zeroing of the course after all the data has been transferred to the archive.

The event calendar is a useful resource for courses, as it allows you to keep track of events that interest you.

"Upcoming Events" is a very handy module that shows the student the next event.

All the latest news related to the courses are presented in the "News Forum" window.

The "Recent Activity" window shows all recent changes that have occurred on the course.

It may take time to write homework and check it, so in some courses we give an advance code word for access to the next course immediately after the student has successfully passed the last test of the course, and before the homework was sent.

Unfortunately, some students abuse our openness and gullibility and do not do their homework at all or very rarely. They quickly run through the courses, and they have a dangerous illusion that they have learned yoga.

Such students acquire negative karma from a non-systematic way of thinking, behavior and life.

The yoga course system is set up so that with regular course cleaning the system can remove a student from all courses where the student has not completed his homework.

If you have any misunderstandings, you can always write to the curators.
